Is it ever too late to model on the catwalk? Well, the team at model agency<\/a> Talent Management think not and are always delighted when this opinion is reflected by the fashion and modelling<\/a> industries.<\/p>\n

With many assuming that a model\u2019s career is short lived, restricted to their teens and early twenties, we know this is simply untrue \u2013 some models are lucky enough to have a timeless look that guarantees them work year after year.
\n
\nOne such lady is the incredibly chic mature model<\/a> Carmen Dell\u2019Orefice, who once again proved that she still has what it takes having taken to the catwalk twice in one day at New York Fashion Week.<\/p>\n

The 81-year-old style icon, famous for being one of the industry’s oldest working models, looked as elegant as ever as she modelled a vintage-esque dress for Norisol Ferrari in the morning, and later modelled a bolder, more modern dress for Marimekko.<\/p>\n

Discussing her career in front of the camera, the gray-haired, sveltely figured model told Today<\/a>: “I don’t know if it’s good or silly. It’s what I enjoy doing, and I’m able to do it.<\/p>\n

“I think America may be growing up and accepting the fact that the bulk of life exists beyond 50. Because demographically…the vast population is over 50.”<\/p>\n

President of the model agency representing Dell\u2019Orefice, Corinne Nicolas, also told Today: “I see our young models who will look at her and be mesmerised by her. She\u2019s an idol.”<\/p>\n

Thankfully, the real, relatable and diverse look that Dell\u2019Orefice is helping promote no longer seem a rarity.
