We\u2019ve just checked out Boux Avenue’s latest campaign and were pleasantly surprised to see plus-size model<\/a> Robyn Lawley fronting the lingerie line!<\/p>\n

Replacing the brand’s Spring\/Summer 2012\u00a0campaign star, Strictly Come Dancing\u2019s size 10 Ola Jordan, size 16 Lawley is now modelling the firm’s Autumn\/Winter collection, much to our delight!

\nTalent Management<\/a> have been fans of the Aussie plus-size model ever since she covered Vogue Italia\u2019s July issue \u2018Real Beauties\u2019 last year, and we’re not the only ones.<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old has been an inspiration to the plus-size models here at the agency too, and it’s easy to see why.<\/p>\n

Lawley, who as well as Vogue Italia has modelled for French Elle, Vogue Paris and Australian Vogue, has admitted spending much of her adolescence obsessing over her weight.<\/p>\n

Back in 2011, she told Fabulous Magazine: “I stumbled across pro-anorexia websites and scoured them for tips. I began starving myself and making myself sick after meals. My mum Jane was concerned but she had no idea how serious the problem was. Plus, I became an expert at lying.”<\/p>\n

However, having battled her body image demons, she has learnt to embrace her stunningly curvaceous figure. Now, the model is determined help diversify body shapes represented in the industry and support healthy body image in women.<\/p>\n

Discussing her appointment as ambassador for Boux Avenue, she said: “I am delighted to be chosen as the face and body of Boux Avenue lingerie. The brand is striving to promote a healthy body image and their size range reflects this. They are making beautiful and exquisite lingerie accessible to every woman.”<\/p>\n

The collection is available in stores and at www.bouxavenue.com<\/a>\u00a0in bra sizes ranging from 30A to 40H and bottoms in sizes 8-20 and includes both an every day wear line called The Hidden Allure and a sexier special occasionwear line called After Hours Glamour.<\/p>\n
