Fashion Is Great Campaign Image, George Garnier<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Earlier this month, top male model<\/a> David Gandy and part-time model<\/a> and all-round fashionista Alexa Chung took part in a photoshoot to celebrate the start of the UK’s first dedicated menswear showcase, London Collections: Men.<\/p>\n

The stylish pair, who Talent Management knows are no strangers behind the lens, were joined by a group of apprentice tailors from Savile Row who gave some amateur modelling <\/a>a go at an exclusive open house event on the iconic street.
\n
\nThe group\u2019s modelling efforts also helped raise awareness for Fashion is GREAT, part of the GREAT campaign, which has been set up to promote the UK as one of the best places in the world to live, work, visit, invest and do business.<\/p>\n

The GREAT campaign also released three new films celebrating fashion and design with contributions from Christopher Bailey and GREAT ambassadors Victoria Beckham and Sir Paul Smith.<\/p>\n

\u201cMen\u2019s fashion is a fantastic British success story – from the established houses of Saville Row such as Richard James, to new and emerging talents like James Long. This first-ever London Men\u2019s Fashion Week will help to showcase the industry throughout London\u2019s Olympic year and will show why Britain is such a fantastic place to visit, study and do business,\u201d said Jeremy Hunt, Secretary of State for Culture, Olympic, Media and Sport.<\/p>\n

Caroline Rush, CEO British Fashion Council, added: “London Collections: Men provides the perfect backdrop for ‘Fashion is GREAT’ highlighting the incredible breath of creative talent that we have here in the UK. It is such an exciting time to be in London and we are thrilled to be playing our part.”<\/p>\n

The inaugural London Collections: Men\u2019s Schedule brings together an exciting array of London\u2019s brightest menswear stars, British heritage brands and international names who will show across the three day celebration of men\u2019s fashion.<\/p>\n

Iconic British brands including Dunhill, Hackett and Margaret Howell will host catwalks shows and presentations alongside a selection of heritage brands and tailors from London\u2019s esteemed Savile Row.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
