British model Kate Moss may have been slated this week, with former Daily Mirror editor Piers Morgan describing her as a “real spoilt little madam” and a “vile little creature”, but Talent Management still loves the London-born stunner.

She has, after all, done wonders for diversifying the modelling industry with her short stature and unusual looks – it’s no wonder she’s become known as the ‘anti-supermodel’ of the 1990s.

And of course, in addition to loving her modelling work, we can’t help but love her awesome fashion style too, and we’re not the only ones.

Often dubbed an international fashion icon, the 38 year old has garnered many awards for her style, including the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s fashion influence award and a place on the Vanity Fair international best-dressed list.

So, as we’re heading into spring ready to update our wardrobes, we thought we’d go to the best and scoop up some of Moss’ top fashion tips.

According to British Vogue, the boho-chic dresser says she dresses to suit her mood. “I just throw on whatever I feel like wearing at the time, which tends to come from the palette of black, grey or red,” explained Moss. “If I’m having an off-day I’ll wear full black.”

So what about accessorising? “I always have a pair of Ray-Bans in my bag and lots of pairs at home because they always seem to go missing. They’re a real staple,” she told the Sunday Telegraph, adding, “And jewellery? I don’t ever think you can have too much.”

So does she have any style rules? Apparently not, though her rocker husband Jamie Hince seems to, despite the fact that he recently revealed he feels “awkward” at fashion shows. “I don’t have any strict rules, but my husband does say not to wear a hat with glasses because I look as if I’m trying to wear a disguise,” Moss said.

Whether the supermodel is hitting headlines for her modelling work or controversial private life, you have to agree that Moss’ style can only be described as iconic.
